What families in the UAE can bring to us

Raising a family in the UAE comes with its own questions. These are some of the topics we work through with parents, teens and young adults.

Raising children between two cultures

The values and language of home, and the school and friends around your children. Finding a way for both to belong.

Keeping Arabic alive at home

When children answer in English and parents want Arabic to stay part of family life, without it becoming a daily battle.

School pressure and big moves

New schools, a change of curriculum, exam seasons, or moving countries: helping children and teens settle and keep going.

Screens and the long indoor months

When the heat keeps everyone inside, screen time grows. Routines and agreements that still hold in July.

Family far from home

Grandparents and extended family in another country, busy work schedules, travel. Building support for the family you have here.

Teens in a fast-moving city

Friendships, social media, money and independence, at an age when everything moves quickly.

How it works

Online, wherever you are

Sessions run on a private video call, so families in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or anywhere in the UAE can join from home. Available times are shown in your own time zone when you book.

In Arabic or English

Choose the language your family is most comfortable in. Many families mix both, and that is welcome too.

In person in Dubai, upon availability

When Hala is in Dubai, in-person sessions can be arranged. Ask us about the next available dates.
